FAQ
Everything you need to know about understanding and taking care of your MOTOLIV pieces.
Add loose tea and hot water to the pot, rest it on the stone-mill base, and gently twist the walnut-wood handle — gravity channels the brewed tea evenly into the fairness pitcher with no drips and no burned fingers. It delivers the calm of a Gongfu ceremony in one intuitive motion that takes only a try or two to master.
Bundles range from an 8-piece everyday set (automatic pot, 180 ml fairness pitcher, and eight 50 ml cups) up to a 13-piece full set in a gift box, which adds a 1000 ml tea-wash bowl, a tea caddy, and a six-tool utensil holder. Choose by how often you host — the full set comfortably serves 7–9 guests.
Every piece is high-fired Ru Kiln ceramic (fired at 1300°C) with hand-painted mountain-and-bird motifs, so no two sets are identical. The stone-mill design insulates the exterior so it stays comfortably cool to the touch while tea remains hot inside, and the non-porous glaze never carries flavors between teas.
To protect the delicate hand-glazed finish, rinse pieces in warm water immediately after use and wipe dry with a soft cloth; avoid the dishwasher, steel wool, and harsh detergents. Stubborn tea tannins lift away with a short soak in warm water and baking soda.
